The HCT RAK Men’s Student Life department hosted an “Ezba” in-campus project and held an opening ceremony last month, which was attended by Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, RAK campuses Executive Director, students and faculty and staff members.
The opening started with the ribbon cutting by Dr. Yahya, followed by a friendly beach volleyball match between students and faculty and staff. After the volleyball match a traditional cooking and hot drink making session was conducted and was shared by all.
This project is unique among HCT campuses were in it reflects a desert atmosphere, complete with a red sand, traditional tent set-up, a barbecue area, and a beach volleyball court to have fun with.
The initiative was greatly appreciated by students and faculty and staff, hence it promotes camaraderie within the college community.
