A group of students, faculty and staff and alumni from Ras Al Khaimah Colleges participated in the 13th Annual RAK Half Marathon on February 8. Nearly 3,400 runners participated in an event that ranks among the fastest half-marathons in the world.
Seven students participated from RKM, with four of them forming the HCT-RKM Students Relay Team and three of them running in the 21 km individual category. Individual Category Members of the team were Humaid Hamdan Ahmad, Jasem Al Mansoori, Hasan Al Mansoori, and Abdulrahman Al Mansoori (alumnus). Fifteen faculty and staff also participated in the team relay and individual 21 km run.
With so many racing participants along with the HCT water station at the race again this year, the RAK Half-Marathon continues to be an event that has a special place in the hearts of the students, faculty and staff. It continues to be a great community event for HCT-RAKC, encouraging students toward fitness and healthy competition.
