The HCT-Al Ain Women’s family of staff, students and faculty focused on the 3 Fs – Food, Fun & Festivities – when the campus recently organized a food festival as a happiness initiative.
The festival was also a charity event in that everyone who bought a ticket for AED 5, not only enjoyed a flavorsome food dish, but also saw the money being donated directly to the Red Crescent winter campaign.
The festival organizers also invited Miss Taim Al Falasi, a well-known online media influencer, who hosted a Q&A on the day, as well as an exciting raffle draw for a holiday.
The AAW Management team and faculty members rolled up their sleeves and prepared food for the festival, in support of the Red Crescent campaign, whilst also being able to interact with students in the lovely rainy weather. Students also contributed by cooking some of the food for the guests of the event.
Many popular food trucks from Al Ain participated in the food festival and everyone enjoyed their meals throughout the day, whilst enjoying the blessed rainy weather and a range of organized shows and exhibits on display.
To everyone’s delight the hugely successful, fun event ended with a bright and colorful festive light show.
