Graduating students and fresh alumni from Madinat Zayed and Ruwais Women’s campuses attended the Tawdheef Exhibition 2019 held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Tawdheef is known to be the region’s leading recruitment exhibition and career development for UAE nationals.
The students and graduates are a combination of the Business and Engineering Divisions. It was such an exciting and valuable exposure for the ladies despite the distance and amount of time travelling from Ghayathi, Mirfa, and Madinat Zayed.
Some of the remarkable feedback and experiences from students are:
“It was a really good trip, I have learned how to prepare myself for job interviews. It was great time to meet with big companies including HCT which I was proud of. I had several actual job interviews, I’m hoping that this will be a gateway for me in the world of work.” — Fatma Murshed Al Marar, a graduate of Bachelor in Business Administration – Quality and Strategic Management
There were well-designed booths representing the top companies like Etihad, UAE Central Bank, HCT, NAWAH, Abu Dhabi Police and many more. People were polite and professional to receive questions. I am just grateful for the opportunity to be able to apply for many interesting companies placed at one event.” Ayesha Khamis Alhammadi, a graduate of Bachelor in Business Administration – Accounting
“The TAWDHEEF event was well-organized. It was a great opportunity meeting new people who are expertise in their own field where they shared their experiences and helped me developed my social skills. The best part of the trip was the opportunity to register and apply for jobs at the prestigious companies.” Mai Saif Abdulla Almarar, a graduate of Bachelor in Business Administration – Quality and Strategic Management
The campus Director, Dr. Taleb Obaid, and the Dean of Academic Operations, Dr. Tarig Faisal, are keen supporters of this kind of initiative as it is geared towards HCT’s vision on 100% employability.
