On October 11, the Educational Learning Hub at the HCT-Ras Al Khaimah Women’s campus (RKW) was the site of a special event for local children.
Semester 8 Education program students, led by Aaesha Almesafri, hosted children from Suhaila School in Ras Al Khaimah for a morning of sustainability themed learning activities in English.
Accompanied by their teachers, Ms. Meera Majed and Ms. Najat Bu Quful, the students had the opportunity to interact in English as they learned about the importance of preserving our natural resources.
Suhaila School is one of many local public and private schools that collaborate with HCT to provide practicum placements for students in the B.Ed. Program offered at RKW campus.
Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, Executive Director of RAK campuses, spoke to the children about the importance of education.
