Let’s Get Physical … RKM Hosts Group Fitness Exercise Demo

The HCT-Ras Al Khaimah Men’s campus’s (RKM) Student Life Department really showed it likes to get physical when it presented a Group Fitness Exercise Demo for all interested students, faculty and staff, on September 11, 2018.

A variety of fitness exercises, such as Kick Boxing, Functional and Circuit training, was demonstrated by Mr. Butch Baduyen, a fitness trainer professional, to attendees . Exercises like burpees, push-ups, jumping jack, mountain climbing, lunges, squat jump, crunches and plank were among the total body circuit stations, which attracted a number of eager students.

The RKM Student Life Department hopes that this activity, held on a weekly basis subject to the participation from students, faculty and staff, will promote a healthy lifestyle and to inculcate the importance of being physically active.
