AAM Propels Engineering Students Forward At Advisory Session 2018

Al Ain Men’s campus (AAM) Faculty of Engineering Technology & Science hosted an informative advising session for about 60 Engineering students on September 25, 2018.

The session aimed to strengthen the students’ understanding of the HCT’s policies, culture and the education operations, to raise the awareness of academic progress, as well as to inform them with of recent updates.

The session was chaired by Dr. Osama Abu-Sharkh, with the attendance of the AAM administrative team led by Mrs. Hamsa Saleh, Campus Executive Director, and including Ms. Fatima Alameri, DCO, and Dr. Maen Odeh, the DAO, Mr. Mohamed Alkhanbashi, Student Life Manager, Ms. Sana Tobeh, Senior Specialist-Student Careers & Workplace, and the Engineering faculty.

Mrs. Hamsa Saleh delivered a talk, as well as the rest of the esteemed administrative team, which included informative advice for the students.

Dr. Osama welcomed the new Engineering student cohorts and provided a brief by highlighting the requirements for the Diploma and the Bachelor qualifications of the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering programs. He also reminded the students of their responsibilities towards the college and their study.

The session was informative and successful. It provided all answers to students’ different questions and concerns.
