Three students from the HCT-RAK Men’s (RKM) and Women’s campuses (RKW) have been honored for their selfless actions in the community, as part of their volunteering efforts throughout the 2017-18 Academic Year.

The three RAK Volunteering Champions are:

  • Abdulrahman Ali Al Attar, (RKM – Engineering) – 519 volunteering hours.
  • Hamad Mohammed Alshehhi, (RKM – Business) – 432 volunteering hours
  • Fayza Mohamad Abdallah Ali, (RKW – Applied Media) – 180 volunteering hours

Abdulrahman was lauded for achieving the highest number of volunteering hours across all HCT campuses.

Dr.Abdullatif Al Shamsi, HCT Vice Chancellor, honored all volunteering champions for the 2017-2018 academic year at a special recognition ceremony on June 4 at the HCT-Dubai Men’s campus.

The volunteering awards have motivated students and encouraged them to get more involved in their local communities by providing services and assistance.

The awards ceremony ended with a delightful Iftar dinner attended by Dr.Abdullatif Al Shamsi and members of the HCT senior management team.
