Sharjah Campuses Reach Out to Ajman Charity for Volunteer Day

2 years

Students from the HCT-Sharjah Men’s and Women’s campuses (SJM and SJW) were given the opportunity to help out a charity from the neighboring Emirate of Ajman, when the campuses hosted a volunteer day for the Al Ihsan Charity Association-Ajman on February 13 and 14, 2018.

The Al Ihsan Charity Association was established in 1990 by a group of community-minded individuals, keen to help those in their community. It was officially launched, in its second phase, in 1998 under the name of “Al Ihsan Charity Association Centre” through a direction of HH Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the member of the Federal Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ajman.

SJM and SJW students were very interested in participating with the charity; 12 students from SJW and 21 students from SJM registered with the charity as part of their volunteering hours.
