The HCT-Abu Dhabi Women’s campus (ADW) introduced senior students to an array of employment opportunities when it hosted Employer on Campus Days events featuring Mdc Business Management Services (A Mubadala Company), Farah Experiences and Zero ohm Electronics.
Students from different majors visited the companies and find out about the labour market requirements and the availability of internship opportunities.
Mdc Business Management Services offered mock job interviews to students and recent graduates, which allowed students and graduates to practise their job interviews, as well as gaining general knowledge about the employers and valuable feedback.
Farah Experiences manages and operates the major Abu Dhabi tourist attractions of Yas Waterworld, Ferrari World and the new Warner Bros. World (due to open this year), and its representatives advertised a range of opportunities including their graduate program, and the particular fields of Marketing, Sales, Finance, Procurement, HR, IT and Entertainment.
Moving to Zero ohm Electronics was actively recruiting students for their summer internship program, beiing primarily aimed at Business Administration (Marketing) and Engineering students. The placement involves working on a project related to training, sales/marketing or product development.
The feedback from students who attended these valuable information sessions was extremely positive, while the respective employers’s representatives were highly impressed with the students’ skills and eagerness to seek future opportunities.
