2 years

The HCT-Al Ain Men’s campus (AAM) successfully hosted the fifth Cyber Quest Training Competition from January 7-10, 2018 when it hosted about 150 male and female university and school students.

The Cyber Quest is an educational program initiated by the Signals Intelligence Authority (SIA), aiming to encourage and motivate the undergraduate students to be able to defend their networks against cyber attacks, and ultimately to protect the UAE Cyber Space.

Eight AAM students participated in this event and valued the experience gained through the training sessions. This training came as a second round after the Roadshow Round which took place in December 2017.

A preliminary round will follow this training session before going to the final competition.  All public and private university and school students had the opportunity to participate in this Round and AAM was able to provide all necessary requirements for a well-organized training environment.

Dr. Yahya Al Ansari, AAM Director, together with AAM members Mr. Mohammad Al Khanbashi and Dr. Khaled Samara, joined Mr. Ahmad and Miss Aysha from SIA for the final ceremony, where they presented certificates of participation to all trainees.
