AAM Students Keen to Taste Big Apple at SMSP Recruitment Session

2 years

A group of HCT-Al Ain Men’s campus (AAM) students recently attended an informative presentation about the Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Scholarship Program (SMSP).

The Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Scholars Program offers a selective cohort of talented university students a unique access to specially designed courses, lectures, leadership experiences, networking, and graduate school opportunities and scholarships.

It accepts scholars from among the most outstanding students at the three national UAE universities – the Higher Colleges of Technology, the United Arab Emirates University, and Zayed University.

The SMSP has been developed in close consultation with national universities and colleges in the UAE and New York University Abu Dhabi.

It is a leadership programme that offers scholars the ability to study various theories of leadership, engage in self-assessment, undertake development exercises and skills training, and meet with noteworthy leaders across a broad spectrum of fields and disciplines.

The programme will include a trip to the US as part of a cross-cultural experience. The scholars will spend nine days at NYU’s campus in New York City and in Washington, D.C. and also engage in numerous cross-cultural, academic, and leadership activities.

The scholars will also receive invitations to attend programmes, lectures, and conferences sponsored by NYU Abu Dhabi and other leading cultural and intellectual institutions in the UAE.
