Signals Intelligence Agency Raises Awareness of Cyber Security at AAM

The HCT-Al Ain Men’s campus (AAM) recently hosted a roadshow for the Cyber Quest competition, which saw the Signals Intelligence Agency (SIA) expand the knowledge and understanding of students and faculty.

Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, AAM Director, welcomed approximately 100 students from AAM and the HCT-Al Ain Women’s campus (AAW) and the Cyber Quest team and encouraged all students to participate in this competition. He also emphasized the significance of Cyber Security and its overall role in the country.

Aysha Al Zarei and Mariam Al Shamsi, from Signals Intelligence Agency emphasized the objectives behind the initiative and explained the different stages to participate in the competition. Aysha Al Zarei also explained the rules and guidelines of participation in the competition and registration process.

Students from various Computer Information Science (CIS) majors, including Security and Forensics, were extremely excited to participate and showed a great deal of interest about the competition, particularly during the Q&A session.

At the end of the session Dr. Yahya Al Ansari and Mrs. Fatima Al Ameri, AAM Senior Manager Campus Support, and Mr. Mohammad Al Khanbashi Manager of Student Life) in AAM presented the certificates of appreciation for the speakers in recognition of their support and professionalism.
