Faculty from the Khalifa Bin Zayed Air College, led by Department head Dr. Mohammed Alkaabi, visited the Engineering Technology Department at Al-Ain Men’s campus (AAM) to learn more about the engineering programs on offer at the campus.
The aim of the visit by the 20-member team was to identify the engineering programs at the AAM and exchange experience in this field. This visit was prior to their CAA visit and they wanted to learn from the experience of AAM Engineering who had gone through the same a few months ago.
The first part of the visit was a joint meeting of the faculty from both colleges, and AAM Division Chair, Dr. Nisar Qureshi, briefed the visitors about the AAM engineering department and its resources and facilities. This was followed by a Q & A session in which Dr. Nisar explained them about the AAM experience with the CAA. The lengthy session saw many topics being raised in an interactive forum.
There were also discussions on a number of topics related to further progress and development in several areas in engineering at both campuses.
In the later part the KBZA staff visited all the Engineering laboratories at the campus, much to their pleasure as it provided great insight into engineering best practices.
