RKW Students Show How to Make A Difference In Education

Bachelor of Education students at the HCT-Ras Al Khaimah Women’s campus (RKW) have had the opportunity to showcase their teaching skills when the campus’s Education Faculty hosted n event entitled “Together We Can Make A Difference In Education” on October 24, 2017.

The event, which hosted 26 students from Khatt Primary School for Girls and their teachers, was organized by Fatema Al Awadi, Education faculty, and conducted by Education students from different levels with the participation of the Education team.  .

Six different learning centers of English, Math and Science in the campus’s in the Education Learning Hub welcomed the visitors and school students to share and apply activities planned and prepared by the Bachelor of Education students.

College teachers and students were also invited to attend and observe the recent ideas and creative work by the Education students, who were very pleased and proud to share their experiences in teaching and learning with Dr. Saif Al Muhairi, RKW director, Dr. Nathir Al Rawashda, Dean of Academic Operations, Dr. Philip Quirke, Education Executive Dean, and other guest who were enjoying and providing valuable advice to the students.

School teachers visiting the event were also involved in the centers observing their students and shared their experiences with the RKW Education students and teachers. It was also an opportunity to have visitors from outside HCT, such as professor Sufian Forawi, Education MA coordinator from The British University in Dubai, who considered it as a great opportunity to meet teachers and students presenting their best practices in teaching English, Math and Science.
