AAM Students Get to Grips with Technology at Middle East GITEX 2017

2 years

A group of 25 Computer Information Science students from the Al Ain Men’s campus (AAM) benefitted greatly from their visit to GITEX 2017 in Dubai – the largest technology event in the Middle East – where they got to see and experience latest trends in technology.

During the visit, students visited the e-Government area where they were given details about the programs used in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and the other Emirates.  They also visited the technology area and interacted with the vendors and the new technologies displayed in the area of Networking and Security.

The trip had an important value for some students who tried to integrate some of the new technologies in their capstone projects. it was also a very good opportunity to discuss the cooperation between AAM and some technology leaders to train and support students on the new technologies, and explore the possibilities of implementing the up-to-date technology in their projects.
