The HCT-Ras Al Khaimah campuses were presented with the excellent opportunity showcase the range of programs offered to students, when they participated in the recently held AFAQ careers fair, which was organized by the Ministry of Education to spread awareness about study and career options for locally-based students.
The one-day event was designed for male and female Ras Al Khaimah high schools students, and held at the Teachers’ Association Centre on September 30.
The purpose of the HCT participation was to promote the programs and services provided by the HCT-RAK campuses, which will facilitate the students’ journeys toward their higher educational degree. The Academic Services, Outreach & Engagement and Student Services departments from the RAK Men’s and Women’s campuses, together with volunteer students, were on hand to discuss options available to future students and represented the HCT effectively.
The fair included an awareness session for students about employment of the Emirates Scale for professional tendencies in identifying and selecting the appropriate university specialization to suit the sectors of the labor market and the requirements of future professions. This was in addition to other activities aimed at exploring the link between future professions and the selection of university specializations commensurate with the needs of the labor market and professional tendencies
