The HCT-Abu Dhabi Women’s campus (ADW) hosted its inaugural Volunteer Fair event for the 2017-18 academic year, by inviting a variety of industry representatives from throughout Abu Dhabi, including public organizations and volunteer associations.
The Volunteer Fair aims to provide various volunteering opportunities to students and promote awareness of their social responsibility. It also enhances the students’ contact with organizations and develops their knowledge and understanding of volunteering.
The day was a resounding success with more than 1500 students from different majors and academic programmes taking the opportunity to visit the Volunteer Fair and register for volunteering opportunities.
Fair organizer, Noura Alzaabi stated: “ADW organizes the Volunteers Fair to provide various and interested opportunities to ours students to enhance their personality, skills and knowledge about volunteering.”
Noura also thanked the organizations for participating in the fair and providing the students with many options for volunteering.
