DBW Students Engage Beyond the Classroom in Variety of New Clubs

Based on the accomplishments of the club activities throughout the previous academic year, the HCT- Dubai Women’s campus (DBW) organized its annual Club Fair this semester, featuring over 20 exciting clubs which will continue to create an environment that enhances student success and engagement.

Ranging from academic and volunteering opportunities to cultural awareness clubs, students signed up to clubs that matched their interests and passions. With over 2200 students registered students this academic year, the various clubs encourages students to use their time on campus in extracurricular activities.


The clubs offered this semester include:

Dalal Al Hai, DBW Student Services Supervisor, said: “Student clubs are a fertile environment for self-development and work on building many skills such as leadership and teamwork skills. In addition to building diverse relationships at the internal and external entities.”


Heading the new club – SOS: Soft Office Skills, DBW faculty member, Dr. Amala Rajan and Rejitha Ravikumar, said: “The main purpose of this club is to enable students to increase their proficiency in MS-Office with the aim to either appear for certification exams or just to enhance their knowledge and skills in using MS-Office software.”


Students may join the various clubs by registering at the Student Services Counter at the administration building.
