ADW Students Get First-hand Look at New Abu Dhabi Police Vehicles

10 months

As they walked the corridors of the HCT-Abu Dhabi Women’s campus on September 17, ADW students were confronted with ear-piercing noise of blaring police sirens.

But the shrieking sirens were all in the name of community policing, as the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters introduced its fleet of new police vehicles to the unsuspecting, but appreciative, audience.

The most noticeable change to the vehicles is the updated livery – with the colours changing from the traditional red and white to a bright blue with white. The fleet of Abu Dhabi Police vehicles, including traffic patrol cars, rescue and assistance cars will all be changed into the new colours.

In order to enhance the first-hand experience, a gleaming new police vehicle was put on display in the ADW main reception, allowing students and staff to know more about the new police vehicles and to help increase the students’ awareness of the Abu Dhabi Police role.
