The HCT-Al Ain Women’s campus (AAM) library has got into the spirit of the Year of Giving by setting up a donate-and-share book giving initiative for AAM employees and students.
The three-week scheme allows participants to drop off any books they longer need, and swap them for new books.
The idea behind the scheme was to get more people reading by offering free books, and also to encourage everyone to recycle books they no longer have use for by donating them to someone else.
In line with the Year of Giving initiative, any books left over will be donated to a charitable cause.
Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, AAM Director, said: “Reading a book is away a human can gain different perspectives in life. It will also enrich our knowledge to look and analyze situations in a wise way.”
