AAM Celebrates Eid Al Adha Al Mubarak with Uplifting Family Gathering

9 months

On the occasion of the Hajj season and Eid Al Adha, the HCT-Al Ain Men’s campus (AAM) organized a special event to celebrate the spiritual meanings of the Hajj Pilgrimage.

Every year, millions of Muslims from around the world make the journey to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for the annual pilgrimage (or Hajj). Dressed in the same simple white clothing to represent human equality, the pilgrims gather to perform rites dating back to the time of Abraham.

After the completion of Hajj, Muslims around the world observe a special holiday called “Eid al-Adha” (the Festival of Sacrifice).

The AAM family celebrated the spiritual meanings of the Hajj Pilgrimage, while the “Takbeerat”, were broadcast throughout the campus.

Throughout the week faculty, staff and students have been able to share their moments of happiness and gratitude, whilst enjoying traditional food, giveaways and happy photo opportunities.
