The sessions started with welcome remarks from Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, AAM Director, who said: “The beginning is always a challenge for all students. It is a new path in their lives that requires information, planning, decision, and forward looking with commitment and hard work to reach graduation. Others are encouraged to attend academic advising sessions to be aware of their responsibilities as students and at the same time ask all needed questions. It is important to graduate students with knowledge and personality to leave a positive mark leading this great country.”
Fatima Al Ameri, the Senior Manager of AAM, supported and followed the College Advising sessions. In addition, Mohamed Alkhanbashi, AAM Manager of Student Life, Lynsey Eames, AAM Librarian and learning and resource coordinator, Sabri Al Mansi, AAM Counsellor; and Sans Tobeh, Supervisor of Careers & Work placement, also all participated in the advising students each in their relevant area of specialization.
