AAW Champions Female Success Stories at Emirati Women’s Day Celebrations

Many successful Al Ain Women’s campus (AAW) students shared their stories, achievements and challenges in an enthralling series of interviews conducted by the college, as part of the innovative and interactive celebrations to mark Emirati Women’s Day on August 28.

The students who confidently shared their stories are perfect examples of ambitious and talented Emirati women, who can be held up as role models for younger students embarking on their paths of higher education at the college.

Reema Hamdan Al Ameri, a Business student, commented: “Celebrating this day, and being here now, has given me the will to be one of these role models in the future. I’m passionate about horse riding and I’ll strive to achieve my goal of being a professional Emirati horse rider.”

Najwa Al Nuaimi, a CIS student, said that she is a professional photographer and loves spending her free time doing volunteer work because it has taught her the meaning of caring for others and to be an active member of society.

Mrs. Hamsa Saleh Al Ammari, AAW Director, said: “Emirati Women’s Day is a great example of the attention and appreciation that Emirati women get from our beloved rulers and country. We have many wonderful role models of successful Emirati women. Each one gives us the will to achieve more and to give more to this nation. In return, we must all pay back this blessed country as role models to the new generation.”
