Dr. Zahoor Khan, CIS Programme Chair at the Fujairah campuses, has been able to share his research findings on the international stage when he presented research papers at the 31st IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA-2017), held at the Tamkang University in Taipei, Taiwan.
AINA is one of the most important international conferences sponsored by the TCDP of the IEEE Computer Society. The conference covers theory, design and application of computer networks and distributed computing and information systems.
The titles of presented research papers were:
- “MEES: Mobile energy efficient square routing for underwater wireless sensor networks”
- “A New Routing Protocol for Maximum Coverage in Square Field for Underwater WSNs”
- “Multiagent control system for residential energy management under real time pricing environment” and
- “Virtual chain based routing protocol for underwater wireless sensor networks”
Dr. Khan thanked HCT management for supporting him to participate in this event.
“Research activities and collaboration help me to enhance my subject knowledge, skill set and competencies. By presenting these papers, my personal goals set for this academic year will be fulfilled. Representing HCT in an international conference impacts positively on HCT’s international image as an applied research higher educational institution,” Dr Khan said.
