The HCT-Al Ain Men’s (AAM) hosted a vibrant Employer on Campus event to provide students with access to employers seeking talented candidates in the disciplines of Engineering, Computer Information Science and Business.
Whether hoping to find a fresh start, a better job, or a new career direction, job seekers found a wealth of exciting opportunities at the employer on campus recruitment events.
Representatives from Abu Dhabi Police visited AAM last month, as they were eager to hire for immediate openings in the field of Information Technology and Networking. The AAM Careers Center also invited representative from Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) who offered sponsorship opportunities for students from the Engineering stream .
The events helped AD police and EGA find qualified job seekers from the college students and graduates. Students were enthusiastic about the events, with many applying for the positions offered, while many got positive responses and are in the process of completing their hiring procedure.
“The Employer On Campus recruitment events arranged by the Career Center are a critical part of our efforts to promote cooperation and coordination between HCT and the surrounding businesses, with a focus on creating more chances for sponsorship and employment for UAE nationals upon graduation,” Sana Tobeh, AAM Career Advisor, said.
In May the college hosted representatives from the Abu Dhabi Education Council for their outstanding participation in all the workshops offered by the College which strengthened the role of AAM in the community.
Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, AAM Director, said: “We are reaching out to community and industry partners to seek for better opportunities for AAM students. We also encourage faculty and staff to link to the local environment in order to build strong bridges for the success of the enterprise as a whole.”
AAM will continue to offer ongoing engagement and recruitment services and will invite more employers and partners next academic year.
