Two faculty members from the HCT Al Ain Women’s campus (AAW) Business Division presented two papers at the Innovation Arabia 10 Annual Congress 2017, held in Dubai from March 6-8.
AAW Business faculty members Dr. Manishankar Chakraborty and Mr. Omar Badran jointly presented a paper entitled A Case Study to understand the existing Student Internship Programs of Business Management Students in the UAE from an Innovative Standpoint. The paper was part of a Smart Learning Conference.
Dr. Chakraborty also presented a paper entitled A Proposed Model to encourage Innovation through a Symbiotic Relationship between Institution and Industry. His paper was part of a Quality and Business Management Conference.
The annual knowledge-sharing congress is convened by the Hamdan Bin Mohamed Smart University, Dubai, UAE, and this year’s event blended interdisciplinary themes, synergizing innovation and entrepreneurship.
Alex Hennawi, AAW Business Chair, said: “These events are the breeding grounds for faculties to exchange, validate and disseminate knowledge and also develop professional networks in the larger interest of employee development. “
Both faculty members thanked HCT for motivating and supporting them to participate in the event.
