ADW’s Baader Volunteering Club Delivers Heart-Felt Wishes

9 months

The HCT-Abu Dhabi Women’s campus’s (ADW) Baader Volunteering Club has delivered a series of touching wishes to the Emirates Autism Center, as part of its ‘Achieve a Wish’ initiative.

The student-club members collected the ‘wishes’ of the children and fulfilled them by bringing gifts, food, balloons, smiles and friendship.

The community initiative is similar to an event by the club two years ago, where the members collected ten ‘wishes’. However, this year the club has excelled by collecting and fulfilling 50 wishes.

As a sign that helping the local community pays off, Baader Club membership continues to increase, with the group welcoming 10 new members this semester, who all contributed their efforts to this venture.

The Baader Volunteering Club is a student group, founded and led by Bachelor of Business Administration student, and now graduate, Khadija Al Kaabi; who volunteer some their time and effort in community projects and activities, and is sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).
