Student members of the Japanese Club at the HCT-Fujairah Women’s Campus were delighted to experience authentic Japanese art forms during a field trip to the Anime Abu Dhabi exhibition.
During the visit, students experienced a plethora of Japanese-themed visual arts and creatives activities, as well as meeting with Japanese artists and film company representatives.
Japanese club leader, Fatima commented: “It was an educating experience that we went to Anime festival and met with Japanese artists. The students were enjoying their time by sharing their interests with other people from different nationalities.“
The FJW Japanese Club currently has more than 60 student members across different programmes, whose focus is to learn about the Japanese culture and arts. The members would like to apply some of these knowledge and experiences in their respective fields of study.
Yulius Yulius, Applied Communications Programme Chair at FJW, explained that the Japanese club is fully supported by the Applied Communication department, which has a mission to extend support to creative students outside their respective divisions.
