As an important contribution towards the UAE Innovation Week of activities at HCT, the Business Division at the Abu Dhabi Men’s campus (ADM) hosted a guest speaker from the Khalifa Fund for Entreprise Development (KFED) on November 23.
Mr Abdalla Al Jarwan, Senior Officer, Enterprise Development and Support, introduced a range of KFED programs aimed at encouraging students to engage in creating a positive, forward thinking attitude towards entrepreneurial initiatives.
Mr. Abdulla reinforced the Khalifa Fund’s commitment to providing further training and professional support for business owners and entrepreneurs. He also focused on the innovation investment and provided students with invaluable insights for the KFED’s latest project, the first incubator for innovation in UAE.
Students were able to gain a great deal from Mr Al Jarwan’s industry expertise and were given the opportunity to think laterally and consider new opportunities in their studies and future endeavours.
Dr. Nadia Bensedrine Goucha, Assistant Professor of Business at ADM who organized the event, emphasized that HCT educational programs provide students with the best framework to develop their own business potential.
Dr. Imre Reczey, Chair of the Business at ADM, expressed the college’s commitments towards developing an incubator scheme and encouraging students to develop their own projects. He emphasized the importance of innovation in investment and the necessity to expand the implementation of innovative practices.
The students’ feedback was highly positive as they enthusiastically engaged in the discussion and expressed their interest in future opportunities provided by the KFED.
