His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Undersecretary of the Court of the Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region, attended the graduation ceremony of the HCT-Al Ain Men’s College (AAMC) on Sunday, May 22.
The ceremony, held at the UAE University, was attended by His Excellency Mohammed Omran Al Shamsi, HCT Chancellor, Dr Abdullatif Al Shamsi, HCT Vice Chancellor, staff, faculty, graduates, families and friends.
A total of 225 graduates were recognized at the ceremony for completing qualifications at Bachelor, Higher Diploma and Diploma levels in the programs of Business, Applied Communications, Engineering, Computer Information Science, Health Science and General Education.
Twenty-three of the graduates received degrees at the levels of Highest Honor, Distinction with Honor and Distinction.
The ceremony started with the national anthem followed by a reading of the Holy Quran. This was followed by short video introducing HCT’s vision and future.
His Excellency Mohammed Omran Al Shamsi, HCT Chancellor, welcomed the guests of honour, invitees and graduates on behalf of the HCT Board of Trustees. He expressed his pleasure at witnessing a new generation of AAMC graduates and he wished them all the best of luck in the next phases of their future careers and lives.
The graduation speech was delivered by Abdulrahman Mohammed Alhdadi, who wished the best of luck to his fellow alumni in their future careers.
The ceremony was concluded by His Highness Sheikh Hazza’s congratulations to the graduates followed by the presentation to him of a gift and group photograph.
