A group of 25 outstanding students from the HCT-Dubai Women’s College (DWC) has been honoured for their outstanding academic achievements for the year.

The students were honoured at a special ceremony attended by Dr Abdullatif Al Shamsi, HCT Vice Chancellor, Dr Tarifa Al Zaabi, DWC Director, industry partners and DWC faculty and staff.

In his address to the students, Dr Abdullatif Alshamsi congratulated them on their achievements and emphasized the importance of doing their best to achieve the government’s expectations.

He reminded students that the UAE strongly believes in and supports youth development and growth, and as a result HCT students must be prepared to accept and undertake future challenges, opportunities and roles.

Dr Tarifa Al Zaabi, DWC Director, said: “I am proud of DWC students’ academic accomplishment and I hope that this event will not only acknowledge the top 25 but will also motivate the rest of students towards academic achievements.”

“Today we also share our students’ achievement in the presence of our industry partners to open doors for sponsorship and early employment for these outstanding students,” Dr Tarifa added.
