KCWC’s Baader Club Celebrate with Special Needs Children

3 years

The HCT-Khalifa City Women’s College’s (KCWC) Baader Volunteering Club shared the spirit of National Day with special needs children from the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs last month.

The group of volunteers visited the centre on the same day as the main college open day was held, with activities such as face-painting, drawing, colouring frames and painting. They also took instant photos with the children to give them momentos of their happiness on the day. The students also brought educational gifts for the children.

“This is the third year that we participate with this celebration and we will continue with this giving because we love the children and we love every moment of joy that it gives them and us,” said student founder and leader Khadija Al Kaabi.

The Baader Volunteering Club is a student group, who volunteer some their time and effort in community projects and activities, and is sponsored by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD).
