DMC Alumnus Appointed Global Innovation Certification Program’s First Dubai Ambassador

The Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI), IXL Center, and Innovation Excellence have announced that they have appointed HCT-Dubai Men’s College (DMC) alumnus Saeed Al Nazari as the first Dubai-based ambassador for the Global Innovation Certification Program.

In his capacity as Ambassador, Saeed will work together with GIMI, IXL Center, and Innovation Excellence to enhance and disseminate innovative business practices in and around Dubai.

He will work to make innovation education broadly accessible to the Dubai business community, ensuring that the content is relevant and aligned with the Dubai business environment, with a special emphasis on young business people.

“GIMI aims to embed innovation’s best practices and international standards in individual companies globally and I will ensure to maximize my efforts to help inject innovation to every single field in Dubai,” Saeed said upon accepting the role.

“Since the birth of the United Arab Emirates innovation has lead our success journey and it will keep developing our country and raise our global competitiveness,” he added.

The GIMI Global Innovation Certification Program, the first of its kind, is a programme that includes a framework of standards and a common language to establish innovation as a true business discipline, one that will take its place alongside accounting, marketing, product development, and project management.

Saeed Al Nazari is Assistant Project Manager in Dubai Government. He also works as consultant to some small enterprises bringing with him extensive experience in Human Resources and Projects Management.

He holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Human Resources) from the HCT-Dubai Men’s College (DMC) and is currently studies Masters in Entrepreneurship Leadership in Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University.

Saeed is also a graduate from the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Scholars Program in New York University, and a graduate from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority’s Promising Leaders Program in the Republic of Mauritius.

Mr Al Nazari is a Board Member of the Alumni Board Committee of the Dubai Men’s College,  a Board Director in the UAE Social Media Club’s Board of Directors and a Board Vice President in the  Institute of Business Analysis in the UAE. In additional, he is a member of Toastmasters International Public Speaking Club and a member of “TEDx” organizers committee .

Mr Al Nazari was awarded an Annual Director Leadership Award, Annual Business Program Award from DMC, a Social Media Award from Du “Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company” and many other Events Management and Entrepreneurship awards from different entities. He is also a high rank winner in many competitions such as Young Entrepreneurs Competition (YEC) and UAE Web Designing Competition in GITEX.

He was the youngest speaker in TEDxSharjah, an international public speaking conference. He was also the only Emirati and the youngest Speaker in the Region’s Biggest Training and Development Conference.
