Top officials of Fujairah’s Al Sharq Hospital hosted representatives of HCT-Fujairah’s Administration last week.
The HCT team was given a tour of the new hospital facilities. This was followed by a discussion of a Memorandum of Understanding that was signed with Al Sharq Hospital.
From operating theatres, to MRI machines to physiotherapy suites, Maryam Al Haffeet and Pamela McInroy, Heads of HCT-Fujairah College Services joined Adel Al Mulla, HCT-Fujairah Government and Community Relations Senior Officer to witness first-hand the high-tech operations of the hospital.
“The state-of-the-art facilities at Al Sharq Hospital are an important contribution to further development in the East Coast Region. We are very proud of the achievements of our new hospital,” remarked Maryam Al Haffeet.
Each department took the time to provide the visitors with a better understanding of hospital operations. “I was impressed by the degree of professionalism of the Al Sharq team. Clearly, the hospital is an icon of best practices and the latest innovations in the medical profession – something we on the East Coast can be grateful for,” Mr Al Mulla said.
A series of workshops will be provided by faculty of HCT-Fujairah in the coming months to staff of Al Sharq Hospital as part of the MoU, which centres on topics as communication and presentation skills, customer service and management.
