ADMC wins Higher Education Sports Federation Swimming Championship

Abu Dhabi Men’s College (ADMC) won the Higher Education Sports Federation swimming competition that was recently held at the American University of Sharjah.

The swimming competition included 40 swimmers representing eight Higher Educational institutions. The ADMC team came first in the 4 x 50 meter relay, and the 50 meter freestyle races.

The team consisted of Ahmed Ali Abdulla Hussain Eissa Al Hosani, Faraj Ali Mohamed Ismail Mamar Qashmi, Faris Ali Mohamed Ismail Al Maeeni, Hussain Ali Abdulla Hussain Eissa Al Hosani and Shamlan Mohamed Ahmed Abdalla.

The winner’s trophy was received by the captain of the team, Saeed Ahmed Obaid Saleh Al Jesmi, who is also a UAE national team swimmer.

Dr. Simon Jones, ADMC Director, congratulated the team on their magnificent effort. He was pleased that ADMC was able to offer not only an excellent education but the chance to participate in a wide range of sport and achieve elite levels of performance through our extensive coaching schemes.

Such other ADMC sports teams include football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, athletics, cycling, billiards and foosball.
