A number of student teachers from Fujairah Women’s College recently conducted an activity day for grade-five students from Juwaireyah School for Basic Education in Gidfaa, Fujairah.

The year three B. Ed student teachers organized a very successful story telling session that took place in the library at Fujairah Women’s College on Monday 29th of November 2010.

The event, focusing on language skills, featured an exciting storytelling session conducted by two of the student teachers while other student teachers undertook activities with the fifth grade students.

They were divided into four different groups that took part in four rotating activities that focused on a multitude of language skills and utilized student produced resources that helped make the sessions a lot of fun.

At the conclusion of the story telling session, each student from Juwaireyah School was awarded a story book to take home by Ms Kandy Szymusiak, supervisor of the library; on behalf of Ms Krystyna Krol the academic chair of the Education Division at Fujairah Women’s College.
