AAMC hosts its own Super 7s

11 years

Students in the Higher Diploma Foundation program at AAMC participated in a sports day to promote team work, a healthy competitiveness and an opportunity to get to know each other as a prelude for the 17 remaining weeks in the semester.

The day was organized by their teachers and the HDF student leaders. Activities included football, volleyball, table tennis, pool, basketball, darts and the popular table football game called ‘babyfoot’.

The day’ events began with a round-robin game of football played between the four sections and ended with a buffet lunch and presentation of the AAMC Super 7s shield. This year the shield was shared as there was a draw between sections one and two.

In presenting the shield to the winning sections, Al Ain Colleges’ Associate Director Tim Smith thanked teachers and students for their contribution to the day and congratulated the HD cohort for their team spirit, commitment and participation.
