The Centre of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) and Abu Dhabi Men’s College (ADMC) recently welcomed Professor Dr David Parsley along with nine MBA students and one Masters of Finance student from Vanderbilt, Owen Graduate School of Management who visited the HCT to learn more about the new Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) program.
“We are very proud of our Executive MBA and welcome every opportunity to share our program structure with other education institutions who are equally committed to equipping our future leaders with key skills in decision making, strategic thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship along with social responsibility,” HCT Vice Chancellor, Dr Tayeb Kamali, said.
“The HCT launched our inaugural year of the program this October with 63 students eager for an educational/hands-on and intensive curriculum that provides the conceptual background and business skills needed to identify, mobilize, exploit and succeed in implementing business opportunities to a commercially successful outcome.”
The HCT EMBA has been designed for those ambitious and innovative students who wish to focus on critical areas of business. Its distinctive model of management education empowers and assists innovative and entrepreneurially-oriented students to move ideas to the marketplace.
The program features the best professors from leading institutions from around the world including Harvard, Stanford and MIT.
Dr David Parsley said he was very impressed with the HCT Executive MBA.
“Students are being challenged and empowered to play a key leadership role in making a difference in their organizations, community and the world,” Dr Parsley said.
The HCT Executive MBA is composed of 12 modules which include eight core courses and four electives. The program is offered in a condensed modular format that takes into consideration the busy schedule of executives and other business and social obligations.
Core areas of focus include: Financial and Managerial Accounting, Human Resource Management, Business Decision Making, Managerial Economics, Global Strategy and Competitiveness, Operations and Enterprise Management, Marketing Management and Managing People and Organizations.
