Higher Colleges of Technology – Fujairah convened its 6th Annual Celebration of Partnerships on June 21.
This year the ceremony honored 237 companies and 450 individuals whom the college has forged strong partnerships with during the 2011-2012 academic year.
The annual event celebrates the productive and abiding partnership ties HCT-Fujairah has established over this academic year with the community on the East Coast Region. The event highlights the outstanding contributions by staff, students and graduates.
The event was attended by the college community board members, representatives of the government offices, banking, business, IT, Education, health, engineering and media sectors in Fujairah and the UAE, and staff and students of both Fujairah Men’s College and Fujairah Women’s College.
The event started with a speech by Dr. Dave Pelham, Director HCT-Fujairah followed by creative presentation of the accomplishments of FMC and FWC, featuring International field trips, student projects, awards, students winning competitions, hosting conferences, and participation in community related events.
The presentation was followed by an awards ceremony, to those authorities, companies, and partners whom helped build a successful academic year.
The event was full of excitement, and all attendees were entered into a draw, sponsored by Le Meridien Al Aqa Beach Resort, Coral Suites Hotel and Hilton Fujairah.
