The UAE’s largest bank, EmiratesNBD has agreed to sponsor the Higher Colleges of Technology-Dubai, Women’s Campus (HCT-Dubai), students to attend the CBL International China Business School in the forthcoming summer break, with the signing of an agreement today.

By signing such agreement EmiratesNBD involved itself further with the academic programmes organized by CBL International and HCT-Dubai for students abroad.

“As the biggest bank in the region we are very much emphasising the importance of education as part of our bank’s mission, to support our own community. We are more than happy to share our expertise with delegates from the region and all over the world to give them a deep insight into the banking sector of Dubai and beyond,” Ibrahim Sowaidan, EmiratesNBD’s Head of Communications explained.

For over four years CBL International has been offering, together with HCT-Dubai, business and law courses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for students and executives from abroad.

“As a globally operating provider of excellent education abroad it is CBL International’s great pleasure to introduce Dubai as the business hub in the Middle East. We are always partnering with the best corporations from various industries and therefore very much welcome EmiratesNBD’s contribution to our worldwide network,”Philip Hockerts CBL International Chief Operating Office said.

“We are delighted that HCT-Dubai students are participating in CBL International China Business School with the support of EmiratesNBD. “We hope that the support by EmiratesNBD is a milestone to kick off other companies to also support more HCT-Dubai students to study abroad,” he added.
