During Ras Al Khaimah Women’s College Special Needs Awareness Event, held on May 14, Student Council members held a handcraft session in the library room with visiting students from the Ras Al Khaimah Handicapped Center.
The special needs students participated with craft instructor, Khulood Al Mehairi, the community officer of the RKWC Student Council.
The session was very successful; the students listened well and paying close attention to instructions. They participated enthusiastically, trying to demonstrate their abilities to impress their teacher and council members.
After viewing the tutorial by Miss Khulood, the students worked in two groups with student council members assisting them. They produced many beautiful products.
