Water Games Team
Abu Dhabi Men’s College participated in the recent HCT Water Festival Games at Sharjah Men’s College.
All of the HCT Men’s Colleges competed for points in a series of competitions which decided the overall winners and runners-up, with teams taking part in a variety of challenging water games which tested stamina, skill, speed and perseverance.
There were some unusual events not normally associated with swimming pools. The obstacle race was challenging, while finding the treasure tested lungs as much as swimming. A water tug-of –war was embarrassing for some teams while a game called “wearing the clothes” was probably the only time some of our students had ever picked up their own clothes! The other competitions were “the bridge” and an in-pool kayak race.
The ADMC team was: Abdalla Omar Abdel Rahman, Hamad Mahmoud Salim Thoban, Ibraheem Awadh Alnuaimi, Khaled Abdulla Eidha Ali Al Musabi, Mohamed Salem Khaled Al Ali, Omar Fahmi Omar Mukhayer, Shamlan Mohamed Ahmed, and Sultan Hamid Al Menhali.
They showed great team spirit and excelled in Finding the Treasure and Wearing Clothes! Their abilities earned them a worthy 3rd place.
