All the excitement and fun of the Ghantoot HCT Family Polo Day from last year will be repeated on December 9, 2011.
After the success of the inaugural event last December, the annual Ghantoot HCT Family Polo Day is on again next Friday, December 9 from 3pm.
Under the patronage of Sheikh Falah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club will again be the venue for the afternoon event and will host children’s rides, family entertainment and a polo match on the lush and sprawling grounds of the Ghantoot venue.
This year the two teams to compete will be the ADAC Polo team and the ADCB Polo Team, vying for glory and an annual cup.
Last year’s inaugural event saw more than 1000 guests attend the fun-filled event and organizers are hoping for another bumper crowd of HCT students, faculty, staff members and their families.
And as with the first event the day is also a fundraiser for the Al Ain Private Center for Special Care and Rehabilitation. Last year a cheque for AED 150,000 was presented to the center.
All HCT students, faculty and staff members, and their families, are invited to attend the Family Polo Day and enjoy the surroundings of the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, the excitement of a polo match and much more. Families can even bring a picnic and relax in the green oasis of the club facilities.
