Al Ain Men’s College staff, students and graduates recently celebrated 20 years of excellence at the Higher Colleges of Technology.
College Director, Mr Brent Mills, marked the occasion by cutting an anniversary cake and releasing 100 colourful HCT balloons.
Mr Mills expressed his gratitude to the local Al Ain community for the support they have given to the college over the years. He commended the partnerships that have evolved and the positive impact they have had on the college programs and curriculum.
Guests included graduates from the original 1988 student cohort, employees with 20 years’ service and the current faculty and student body.
Al Ain Men’s and Women’s Colleges, and Abu Dhabi Men’s and Abu Dhabi Women’s Colleges, were the first HCT campuses to open in September 1988. Since then, a further 12 campuses have been established throughout the UAE as well as a Center of Excellence for Applied Research and Training (CERT) in Abu Dhabi.
